Isn't it fun to watch a flower grow?

It's almost more fun than just stumbling across a fully mature flower, isn't it?

On the other hand...'s really satisfying to watch a weed die.

This sorta explains who I feel about the whole Trump campaign.  I have enjoyed Trump rise to the top during the Republican primaries, but I have really enjoyed the anti-Trump people's hopes get slowly crushed over the course of the last ten months.

Sure it would have been great if Trump would have been the clear winner right out of the gates, but the way it worked out has given me the satisfaction of watching the anti-Trump people be proven wrong, day after day, week after week, month after month. I actually admire their stamina.  I would have pulled out and cut my losses long ago, but not the #nevertrump-ers.  They doubled down and painted themselves into a corner with ultra slow drying paint.  It's fun watching them standing in their corners, wondering what to do.

The anti-Trump people's last hope, the line, "He can never beat Hillary", is fading away, right before our eyes.

National Poll: 1500 Registered Voters – Donald Trump Wins Hispanic Voters: Trump 55%, Clinton 45%…

One America News Network and Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, conducted a random survey of 1,574 registered voters across the United States. The poll was conducted on May 10th and has a margin of error of ± 2.5% at the 95% confidence level. (Link to More Data)
This OAN poll is the stuff of Team Hillary Clinton nightmares, for a couple of reasons.
  1. The poll is well oversampled toward Democrats: 40% Democrat, 33% Republican, 27% Independent.  Yet, Hillary barely squeaks out ahead.
  2. The Independents in the poll heavily skew toward Donald Trump 58%.  This is the battleground space/electorate for almost all swing state polling.
  3. Donald Trump wins Hispanic voters.
  4. The polling base, “registered voters” does NOT include the Monster Vote.
