Racism and Racing

Here’s an idiot.

Not only is Chris Matthews an idiot, everyone who doesn’t think that he is an idiot, is an idiot.  Also, 95 percent of people who accuse America of being racist are idiots, and that percentage grows higher as time goes by.

There are two things liberals say that we are just supposed to accept without question.
  1. Racism is bad.
  2. America is bad because it is such a racist country. (and of course, when accusing and entire country of being racist,  liberals are only referring to whites in America)

You’re not going to try and tell me that racism is OK, are you?  You, you, you, racist!

I’m not.  I’m not. I’m just going to tell you how people behave.  But first, let’s look at last week's NASCAR results.

What the hell does this have to do with racism?

Racism, racing, those two words sound pretty similar, there ‘s gotta be some parallels we can draw there.  First of all you will notice that Kevin Harvick won the race.  In other words, Harvick did better than everyone else.  Did his team do everything perfectly during the entire race?  No, a member of his pit crew dropped a lug nut causing him to fall into nineth place on lap 227.   Did he set any new records?  No, but he obviously did better than everyone else, and you know what, that’s all that matters, isn’t it?

You’ve heard the expression, “nobody’s perfect”, and it’s most certainly true.  There are few absolutes in life.  Just about everything, everybody does, is judged by how they behave or perform, relative to everyone else.

There’s two aspects of human imperfection.
  1. The inability to attain perfection, regardless of how hard one tries, and
  2. Deliberate wrong doing.

We already discussed that Harvick and his team did not (and could not) do everything perfectly, during the race but did they commit any deliberate wrong doing?  That’s a question often asked about the winners of auto races, and it is most often asked by the losers.

NASCAR officials inspect the winner’s cars before and after each race to make sure no one was cheating, but everyone knows, that every team in every race, pushes the rules to the limit and beyond, to try and gain an advantage.  In the most technical sense, every team is cheating, but since they all do it, at least to some extent, most people feel race teams are just trying to win, and it’s not a bad thing.

OK, so what’s that got to do with racism?

Everything, when you consider how people behave.  First of all, let me say that America is not a racist country, at least when you judge it by the same standards of how everything and everyone else is judged.  Do I really need to go round up a bunch of links to show you how terribly people treat other people in other parts of the world?  You know what I’m talking about.  What are daily events in other countries, almost never happens in the United States, and if anything even remotely similar happens here, it’s headline news for weeks.

America fought a civil war to end slavery, and has passed civil rights legislation to protect the rights and freedom of all people who live here.  There are plenty of other countries, on every other continent, that have a far worse record on racial equality than the United States, and given the diversity we have in this country, I even dare to say that no country has done a better job at discouraging racism, than America.

Now for you liberals, accusing this great nation of being racist.  You’re losers, just like all the cry babies that make accusations of cheating whenever they’re not the first cross the finish line.  You know your policies are failures, and you have no ideas on how to solve any of the problems this nation faces, so all you can do is accuse the other side of wrong doing.

Everyday, more and more people are coming to this realization, and eventually, those accusations of racism, that you use like a weapon against anyone who disagrees with you, will be rendered useless, just like the guy who constantly accuses everyone else of being a thief or of cheating.  Eventually people start thinking, “It takes one to know one”.

There isn’t one thing I said in this post that isn’t true, so you race baiting liberals are going to accept one of two things, either:
  1. Racism isn’t bad, because everyone else is racist, or
  2. America isn’t bad, because it is about the least racist nation you’re ever going to find.
I believe that it is the latter, but if you can’t bring yourself to say anything good about America, then I have to assume you believe it is the former.
